All of my career as a make-up artist has been spent using premium brand products and I continue to use them on my clients. There is one good reason for that.
They really are, in my opinion, the best! On your wedding day when You are wearing the most expensive dress you have ever worn, why wear economy brand make-up when you can wear Dior and Chanel !!
Most of the foundations I use are either Lauder, Arden, Chanel or Mac. I consider these foundations to be truly exceptional, for colour and staying power. In some cases I may use two or more different shades to perfect the skintone.
Once the “canvas” is flawless I begin to build the “picture”. With highlighters, blushers and toners to sculpt the cheek and orbital bone. Creams and powders from Bobbi Brown to Calvin Klein.
Onto eyes, the most important feature of the face. I use a lot of Dior and Bobbi Brown eyeshadows. Dior have the most fabulous vibrant colours, the powder is very finely ground so extremely long lasting. But for the classic “smokey eye” the shades of Bobbi Brown really cant be matched. Finish off with a twinkle and a shimmer from Urban Decay!
We also offer individual lash extensions. These attach to the base of your own lashes. So you can have just a few in the corners or a whole lash line of them.
Your lip and eye make-up will be primed with bases first so they will last as long as you need them to.
Lip make-up is a very individual thing. Some clients prefer gloss, others prefer lipstick. Whatever we choose, it will be the one you are most comfortable with and blends with your look.
